The specialized theological studies program is characterized by in-depth education for graduates of basic theological studies. It prepares graduates for advanced and in-depth theological knowledge, which is often the first step towards a possible choice of a research and academic path. The program is characterized by a high level of specialization in theological subdisciplines.

All lectures are held in a hybrid form (stationary classes at the University's headquarters with the possibility of online participation). The SST graduate demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the Church's teaching and the ability to interpret the Magisterium in accordance with the challenges of modern times, in connection with other fields of science, especially the humanities and social sciences. Graduates are prepared to undertake and coordinate activities in ecclesiastical and secular institutions whose activities concern broadly understood social life, culture and education, especially those inspired by the Christian faith.

The qualifications obtained entitle the holder to hold management positions in the indicated scope and to act as an expert within the completed specialization. The qualifications obtained allow the teacher to teach theology and formation in theological seminaries. The graduate is also prepared for further scholarly development within the cycle of doctoral studies.
