Filologia polska - I stopnia, stacjonarne

Filologia polska I stopnia to studia licencjackie prowadzone w trybie stacjonarnym. Celem kształcenia na kierunku jest zdobycie wiedzy z zakresu literaturoznawstwa i językoznawstwa oraz przygotowanie do wykonywania różnych zawodów. W ofercie naszego kierunku znaleźć można specjalizację nauczycielską. Jej realizacja na I stopniu nie daje pełnych uprawnień, jednak umożliwia pracę w szkole podstawowej (za zgodą dyrektora placówki, w której absolwent będzie chciał podjąć pracę). Pełne kwalifikacje zapewnia dopiero realizacja specjalizacji na II stopniu (studia magisterskie). Na kierunku dostępne są poza tym moduły do wyboru: Komunikacja językowa: media, reklama, PR oraz Edytorstwo. Umiejętności zdobyte na module komunikacyjnym pozwolą na podjęcie pracy w mediach, agencjach reklamowych, na stanowisku rzecznika prasowego oraz firmach zajmujących się copywritingiem. Moduł edytorski przygotowuje do pracy w wydawnictwach książkowych (tradycyjnych i cyfrowych) oraz prasie.

Qualification rules for candidates holding a maturity certificate obtained by passing the matriculation examination (the so-called "new matura"):

*one of the subjects indicated by the candidate from the following set is considered: biology, philosophy, history, history of art, history of music, Latin and ancient culture, mathematics, civics, physics/ phisics and astronomy, chemistry, computer science.

The results of qualification procedure (W) is calculated according to the formula: 

W = p₁W₁ + p₂W₂ + p₃W₃   

where:

W₁ – number of points corresponding to the percentage result of the matriculation examination in a Polish (written part),

W₂ – number of points corresponding to the percentage result of the matriculation examination in a modern foreign language (written part),

W₃ – number of points corresponding to the percentage result of the matriculation examination in an elective subject (written part),

p₁ – conversion factor for the level of Polish,

p₂ – conversion factor for the foreign language level,

p₃ – conversion factor for the level of the elective subject 

If a candidate has a result for one subject both at the advanced and elementary levels on the matriculation certificate, the result from the level which, multiplied by an appropriate conversion factor, gives a higher value is considered in the qualification procedure.

Qualification rules for candidates holding a maturity certificate obtained by passing the maturity examination (the so-called "old matura") :

* one of the subjects indicated by the candidate from the following set is considered: biology, geography, history, Latin and ancient culture, mathematics, civics, physics,

** end-of-year grade is considered only if the candidate has not taken the subject.

The results of qualification procedure (W) is calculated according to the formula:

W = p₁W₁ + p₂W₂ + p₃W₃ + p₄W₄    

where:

W₁ - number of points in the maturity examination in Polish (written part) after conversion in accordance with the table in § 1, art. 1,

W₂ - number of points in the maturity examination in Polish (oral part) after conversion in accordance with the table in § 1, art. 1,

W₃ - number of points in the maturity examination in modern foreign language (oral part) or points for end-of-year grade if the candidate has not taken a modern foreign language (oral part) in a matriculation examination, after conversion in accordance with the table in § 1, art. 1,

W₄ - number of points in the maturity examination in the subject indicated by the candidate (written part), specified as an elective subject, or points for the end-of-year grade if the candidate has not taken it in a matriculation examination, after conversion in accordance with the table in § 1, art. 1,

p₁ – conversion factor for the written part in Polish,

p₂ – conversion factor for the oral part in Polish,

p₃ – conversion factor for the oral part in the modern foreign language level, or, optionally, for the end-of-year grade in that subject

p₄ – conversion factor for the written part in the subject indicated by the candidate as an elective subject or, optionally, for the end-of-year grade in that subject.

Qualification rules with International Baccalaureate and European Baccalaureate

Candidates who have passed the International Baccalaureate and have achieved the score of at least 37 on the IB diploma shall be awarded maximum points in the major(s) they register excluding medicine, and subject to art. 12.

Candidates who have passed the European Baccalaureate and have achieved an overall score of at least 88 out of 100 points on the EB diploma shall be awarded maximum grades in the major(s) they register excluding medicine, and subject to art. 12.

The admission of candidates with an IB diploma with a score lower than 37, and candidates with an EB diploma with a score lower than 88, as well as candidates with an IB diploma or EB diploma who apply for admission to the faculty of medicine, regardless of the score obtained on the diploma, is based on the admission criteria for persons with the "new matura," subject to art. 12 and in accordance with the table below, where it is assumed that:

- for the International Baccalaureate: the lower level - standard level, hereinafter SL, of the subject passed by the candidate corresponds to the elementary level of the subject passed in the matriculation examination, and the higher level - high level, hereinafter HL - the advanced level;

- for the European Baccalaureate: the basic level is taken to be L2 and L3 (number of hours per week) and the advanced level is taken to be L4 and L5, and mathematics L5+3 (number of hours per week):  

For the candidates referred to in art. 10-12, taking part in recruitment for the major of Journalism and Social Communication (full-time first-cycle studies) or Theology (full-time uniform master's degree studies), due to the fact that an entrance examination is required as part of the qualification procedure for these majors, the principle is that the score obtained from the European Baccalaureate or the International Baccalaureate is equivalent to the score from the matriculation examination. The second component of the recruitment result of these majors is the entrance exam score.

The recruitment result of a candidate taking the International Baccalaureate, whose score is below 24 in the examination under the International Baccalaureate program, the passing of which is confirmed by the IB diploma, is 0 points.

The subjects which cannot be taken as part of the matriculation exam by candidates with an IB or EB diploma due to the matriculation curriculum at a given school are determined as equivalents in the table below, with the proviso that in the case of candidates who have not had the opportunity to take Polish language as part of the International Baccalaureate or the European Baccalaureate it is allowed to take into consideration as an equivalent of Polish another A1 language passed by the candidate (in the case of IB Baccalaureate) or L1 or L1+3 language (in the case of EB Baccalaureate), however the same language cannot be taken into account twice when calculating the result of the recruitment procedure: 

Candidates with an EB diploma, who have a foreign language score of L2+3 on their diploma, are considered to have a score equivalent to a bilingual modern language on their matriculation examination.
